Reuters reports that FTSE 100 CEOs take 4 million pound share hit in the current economic meltdown in 2008. This is an almost 36% decline in their holdings from the end of 2007.

FTSE 100 index on the other hand lost 31.3% in 2008 compared with 2007. Maybe they should have just bought the index and be half a million richer on the average …
