They realized that stay at home parents couldn&#039;t save up for retirement, and thought that being recognized as married meant that something should be offered.

		<description>We&#039;re doing this, but I didn&#039;t know it was specifically called a Spousal IRA. I just assumed every person, regardless of employment status could contribute to a Roth IRA.  Good to know.</description>
