Carnival of Wealth #10 – Halloween Edition

Welcome to the October 31, 2010 edition of Carnival of Wealth.

Halloween has come and gone. I have no particular memories of the countless Halloweens before our kids were born but now I remember all the Halloweens that they have been part of. When we go out trick-or-treating, it is like we are on a mission. And as all great missions in life, it is a great bonding experience.

This, I presume, is a gentle reminder to me, and all of us, that if you have a goal that you are passionate about, as these kids were, you will find that your passion infects and excites even the most jaded, and you will pick up others on your road to success who share the same enthusiasm for your vision and who support and feed off of you. People who warn you where to not waste time, and tell you of the riches you can have if you knock on the right doors.

Let’s dive in and devour the stellar selection of gourmet writings that make up this week’s edition.

This probably comes as no surprise to most small business owners, especially in the early stages. The simple answer to this problem would be a limitless source of cash. (Of course if we had unlimited funds, we may not find it necessary to endure the trial and tribulations of business ownership). Since this is usually not possible, we need to do the next best thing: analyze our cash flow requirements and find the most cost effective and easily available solution for any shortfalls. Even the most successful business can find itself shutting its doors if it is not able to manage it’s cash flow needs.”
